We are back for the final stretch of the NBA regular season after All-Star Weekend! Now is the time of the regular season when the contenders and pretenders separate themselves. Additionally, the bottom feeders of the league may or may not start “tanking” and look forward to next season. Nonetheless, a full schedule of games on Friday night. San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Lakers

Both teams played on Thursday night and took losses in their respective games. The Lakers were without LeBron James in the game against the Warriors. Additionally, the Spurs lost a close game against the Kings.
This season, the Spurs have struggled defensively, especially in the second game of back-to-back situation. In fact, the Spurs are allowing 125.8 points per game in that span.
Further, in the five road games on back-to-back situations, the Spurs are allowing 132.2 points per game. Lastly, the Spurs have allowed at least 127 points in four of the five games. I expect the Lakers’ offense to find success in this game without LeBron James.

Charlotte Hornets vs. Golden State Warriors

The Charlotte Hornets are playing outstanding basketball dating back before the All-Star break. Further, the Hornets went into Utah last night and got the outright victory as a 10-point underdog. Over the last seven games, the Hornets have 6-1 ATS.
The Hornets are in a back-to-back situation tonight against the Warriors. On the second leg of a back-to-back game, the Hornets are 6-3 ATS. Furthermore, the Warriors have struggled this season at home, covering the spread.
In fact, the Warriors are 13-16 ATS and are only 1-3 ATS when favored by double-digits at home. I believe the Hornets continue covering double-digit spreads.
