Shai Gilgeous-Alexander – Lower than 31.5 Points
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is ‘only’ averaging 29.0 ppg in February, bringing his season scoring average down to 31.1 ppg. While he scored 38 in his last game, that was the first time he topped 31.5 points in five games. And tomorrow’s opponent, the Orlando Magic, have the fourth-best defense in the NBA this season. I think they hold SGA under 32 points.
Jalen Suggs – Lower than 11.5 Points
One of the players tasked with keeping Gilgeous-Alexander in check tomorrow night will probably be Jalen Suggs, so you have to think that will affect his scoring on the other end. While he’s averaging 12.2 ppg for the year, he’s at 11.4 ppg for February. And he’s only scored 12 or more in a game three times in his last 11 contests.
Devin Booker – Lower than 29.5 Points
It’s hard to predict which Phoenix Sun will carry the scoring load from game to game – normally it’s either Kevin Durant or Devin Booker. The past two games it’s been Booker, as he poured in 32 points in each game. But before that, he went four games under 30 points. Let’s take a stab at the lower than 29.5 points for him tomorrow at home.
