Well, degens. The fact is that Tuesday night’s NHL Underdog entries were more pitiful than the San Jose Sharks this season. Wednesday night, we are looking at a three-game NHL slate, and the Quick Pick simply needs to do better.
As quarterback, Josh Allen says in times of adversity when asked why it can be done, the answer is “because we’ve done it before.” It’s time to invoke Rule 76 from an all-time great movie, “No excuses, play like a champion.” And champions build bangers. Here are my three best NHL Underdog Fantasy Picks for February 7.

The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for February 7
Tyler Seguin Higher Than 0.5 Points
The Dallas Stars began their second half of the season last night with a win over the lowly Buffalo Sabres. Wednesday night, they travel North to Toronto for a battle with the ho-hum Maple Leafs. Veteran centerman Tyler Seguin is an Ontario native and is currently on a four-game point streak.
He also has modest success against Toronto, with two points across his last five games against. We’re riding the hot hand of Seguin onto the NHL Underdog battlefield tonight. Go ahead and take Tyler Seguin Higher Than 0.5 Points against the Maple Leafs.
Victor Hedman Higher Than 0.5 Assists
Another season. Another Tampa Bay Lightning team lurking in the long grass as the season surges onward. The veteran contributions on this team are monster, like those of defenseman Victor Hedman. He now has 9 goals and 41 assists this season and looks to add to that against the Rangers tonight.
Hedman is coming off a three-assist night against the Devils back on January 27. The defenseman also has assists in three straight games coming into Wednesday’s matchup at Madison Square Garden. Just call him Helping Hands Hedman because we’re taking Higher Than 0.5 Assists tonight!
Brock Faber Higher Than 0.5 Points
The Minnesota Wild are certainly riding the struggle bus this year but aren’t quite yet out of it. The teams directly in front of them in the standings are more than susceptible to taking a little tumble. That’s why Wednesday night’s game against bottom-feeders Chicago will absolutely need to be two points.
We’re looking to 21-year-old defenseman Brock Faber to do his part in cashing our banger. With 4 goals and 25 assists this season, the kid has demonstrated his value. He also has nine points across his last seven games coming into tonight. Go ahead and mash Brock Faber Higher Than 0.5 Points against Chicago because we’ve got a banger to cash!
