The Quick Pick: Daily NHL Underdog Fantasy Pick ’em Picks for February 5

Kyle Palmieri Higher Than 0.5 Points

The New York Islanders stumbled into the All-Star Break with three straight losses. As their second half begins tonight in Toronto, they will certainly have their work cut out for them. Our first NHL Underdog entry on Monday night is 33-year-old veteran centerman Kyle Palmieri. He went into the break hot as can be, on a two-game goal-scoring streak.

I am also factoring in that Palmieri now has three points in two games against Toronto this season. Fire up those converters, Chewie. We’re punching Kyle Palmieri Higher Than 0.5 Points tonight against Toronto.

Devon Toews Higher Than 0.5 Points (1.25x Odds)

On the flip side of the Islanders coin comes the Colorado Avalanche. This team motored into the All-Star Break with three straight wins. Tonight, the Avs begin their second-half run in Madison Square Garden. Our second NHL Underdog entry is defenseman Devon Toews.

With eight goals and 21 assists this season, asking him to snag a point tonight is more than doable. He also has five points across his last five games. Grab the pepper shaker because we’re spicing up Devon Toews Higher Than 0.5 Points at 1.25x odds against the Rangers.

Chris Kreider Higher Than 0.5 Assists (1.25x Odds)

The Rangers fell off the pace in the Eastern Conference as the first half of the season wore on. Starting their second half at home against a tough opponent would be a nice spot to grab two points. Therefore, we are keying in on the American winger and Rangers talisman Chris Kreider.

He’s tallied 23 goals and 22 assists this season and went into the break with three assists in his last four. If the Rangers are going to find victory, I fancy Kreider to be in on the action. If we used pepper before, then we’re using hot sauce on this entry. Let’s take Chris Kreider Higher Than 0.5 Assists at 1.25x odds and bink this banger!
