NFL Divisional Round: Underdog Fantasy Pick ‘Em -Defense
Kyle Hamilton Higher Than 5.0 Tackles + Assists
The second year Safety for the Baltimore Ravens has quickly turned into a field general running the Ravens’ secondary. The All-Pro Safety is the do-all for the Ravens and is looking to help carry this team to the conference finals.
Hamilton has reached this number in the Ravens’ last four games and in five of their last six. When these two teams played in Week 1, Hamilton only racked up three total tackles. It’s important to remember how long ago that was, and the Texans weren’t the team they are today.
In nine of his 14 games since that matchup, Hamilton put up at least five tackles. In his one playoff game start last year against the Cincinnati Bengals, Hamilton recorded nine combined tackles.
Fred Warner Higher Than 7.5 Tackles + Assists
Jordan Love, Aaron Jones, and the Green Bay Packers head to San Francisco to take on the 49ers this week. While the 49ers offense gets a lot of credit, their defense should too. It’s going to be a tall task for the #7 seeded Packers to take on Fred Warner and crew.
Warner has eclipsed the 7.5 combined tackles mark in ten of his 16 games so far this season and in three of the 49er’s last four games. Warner can show up big, going over the 10 total tackle mark on six different occasions in the 2023 season.
When it comes to the playoffs, Warner is a player who shows up, last season in two of their three playoff games Warner went higher than 7.5.
Fred Warner isn’t taking the Packers lightly:
“Jordan Love played the game of his life in his playoff debut. He’s been phenomenal down the stretch.
It’s gonna be a huge test for us this weekend. I’m not taking the Packers lightly. The Cowboys must’ve taken the Packers lightly.… pic.twitter.com/it9JWdLqrH

Aidan Hutchinson Higher Than 3.5 Tackles + Assists
As the Detroit Lions have made their run down the stretch heading into the playoffs, Aiden Hutchinson has proved why he has been worthy of being the number two overall selection for the Lions in the 2022 NFL Draft class.
Last week in a hard-fought win against a scrappy Los Angeles Rams team, Hutchinson recorded six total tackles. In the last three Lions games, Hutchinson has eclipsed the 3.5 combined tackles number. Expect Hutchinson to be chasing Baker Mayfield around all day on Sunday afternoon and clogging up the Buccaneers strong run game.
Justin Reid Lower Than 6.5 Tackles + Assists
The weekend wraps up with what could be the best game of the Divisional Round. The Kansas City Chiefs head to Buffalo to take on Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in Patrick Mahomes’ first career road playoff start. This game could be affected by weather, and that plays in Reid’s favor.
For Justin Reid, in the fourth coldest game in NFL history last week, he recorded just three solo tackles. In a loss to the Bills in their Week 15 matchup, Reid accounted for just six combined tackles.
Over the last five games, Reid has only gone higher than the 6.5 combined tackle mark twice, against the Cincinnati Bengals and the New England Patriots.
In both of those games, the Chiefs won by larger margins allowing for garbage time tackles for Reid. In this weekend’s matchup, it should be a close-fought battle to the end, and in the closer games, Reid has recorded fewer tackles.
