Jaylon Tyson (CAL) Higher Than 25.5 PRA
USC looks broken right now. The Trojans are 1-5 straight up in their last 6 games. Cal should be able to compete and hang in the game Wednesday night. In that case, Jaylon Tyson is going to get his. Tyson has recorded more than 25.5 points, rebounds, and assists in seven of the Golden Bears’ last eight games.
Al-Amir Dawes (Seton Hall) Lower Than 17.5 PRA
Seton Hall is 1-4 straight up in games away from home. The Pirates are 5.5-point underdogs at Providence, where the “AMP” (“Dunk”) is a very hard building to win in. The Friars currently own the 7th-ranked defense via KenPom’s defensive efficiency.
Trends are very strong against Seton Hall’s Al-Amir Dawes. The Senior guard has not performed well against tough competition so far this season. In the last 10 games, Dawes has cleared 17.5 points, rebounds, and assists in just two of them. This player projection is 6-1 when the Pirates play high major competition and 2-0 vs Big East foes.
Kobe Elvis (Dayton) Higher Than 3.5 Assists
Traditionally Davidson gets exposed against Dayton because of the Flyers’ speed and athleticism. Dayton is favored by 4.5 points and should be able to flex their physical attributes over the Wildcats in this one too.
The Flyers’ offense is 15th in the country in assists per field goal made (63.2%). Vice versa, Davidson’s defense is allowing assists on 55.4% of the field goals against them (289th). Dayton’s Kobe Elvis has dropped more than 3.5 dimes in eight of the 12 games this season.
