Underdog Fantasy Pick Em’ Flowchart
Core Plays
The core plays are going to be my favorite plays this week as your base foundation to start your pick-em entry to maximize. This week, there are two projections I love to get the Underdog Fantasy Pick Em entry started.
Chris Olave Higher Than 70.5 Receiving Yards
I have been fading the Buccaneers pass defense throughout the season and this week is no different. The Buccaneers have allowed at least one opposing wide receiver to go higher than this projection in 11 of the 16 games this season. Further, Olave has gone higher than this projection in four out of the last five weeks for the Saints offense. I love this NFL Week 17 Underdog Pick Em Entry!
Brock Purdy Higher Than 267.5 Receiving Yards
There is no doubt that Brock Purdy is coming off one of the worst games of the season last week against the Ravens. However, if there ever was a remedy for that performance, it’s this week against one of the worst pass defenses in the league, the Washington Commanders.
The Commanders have allowed nine different quarterbacks this season to go higher than this projection. Lastly, the Commanders are allowing the 2nd most passing yards per game and opponent yards per pass attempt. love this entry for the NFL Week 17 Underdog Fantasy Pick Em!

Christian McCaffrey Higher Than 121.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards
There is no secret that Christian McCaffrey has been a yardage monster this season. Rightfully so, McCaffrey is in the conversation for both MVP and Offensive Player of the Year. As I mentioned above, the Commanders’ defense has been amongst the worst in the entire league.
In fact, over the last three weeks, the Commanders have allowed 161 rushing yards per game and allowed close to 40 receiving yards per game to the running back position. Further, McCaffrey has exceeded this projection in six of the last seven games for the 49ers. I expect another big game for McCaffrey raking up the yardage.
D’Andre Swift Higher Than 15.5 Rush Attempts
Another team that has been struggling against the rush is the Arizona Cardinals. In fact, on the season, the Cardinals are allowing a league-worse 147 rushing yards per game. Furthermore, that has gotten even worse over the last three weeks where they are allowing 174 rushing yards per game.
Additionally, teams are attempting to run an average of 27 times per game against the Cardinals. I expect a heavy rushing attack from the Cardinals in this game. love this entry for the NFL Week 17 Underdog Fantasy Pick Em!

De’Andre Hopkins Higher Than 59.5 Receiving Yards
I am a narrative person and there is no better narrative this week than Hopkins returning to Houston for the first time since he was traded. Plus, the Titans are in a revenge spot here after the Texans beat the Titans in overtime a few weeks ago in Tennessee.
Despite Hopkins having subpar weeks over the last two weeks, I expect him to get up for this game against his former team. Hopkins has gone higher than this projection in seven games this season.
The Texans’ pass defense has taken a step back over the past several weeks, and I expect Hopkins to stick it to his former team.
Tyrod Taylor Higher Than 23.5 Rushing Yards
The Giants starting quarterback this week will be Tyrod Taylor. Taylor has been a mobile quarterback in his career, and I expect him to utilize his mobility in this game.
Over the last three weeks, the quarterback position has gone higher on this projection. Earlier this season, when Taylor was the starting quarterback for the Giants, he reached this projection in three games. love this entry for the NFL Week 17 Underdog Fantasy Pick Em!

Najee Harris Higher Than 54.5 Rushing Yards
The Steelers will head West to take on the Seattle Seahawks in a pivotal matchup for playoff position for both teams. One area that the Seahawks have struggled in is defending the run. Over the last three weeks of the season, the Seahawks are allowing 171 rushing yards per game which is the second worst.
Despite the struggle Harris is having this season, I believe he can have a big game here for the Steelers. I love this entry for the NFL Week 17 Underdog Fantasy Pick Em!
