I hope you all enjoyed your break and enjoyed Christmas, but we are back! We have a nice slate this Friday with a lot to choose from. Nine top 25 teams will be in action, so head up! Although we have all these top teams playing, it may be profitable to fade some of them. A lot of high-major teams hosting little guys come out slow after Christmas break. Let’s take advantage of that. Here are the College Basketball Picks for December 29th.

College Basketball Picks December 29th
Brown (139.5) at Stony Brook -2.5
The Brown Bears head to Long Island to game on the Seawolves of Stony Brook. By no means are either of these teams good, but we have a line that we can exploit. Stony Brook is a team that returned a decent bit of production and they have been decent to start the season. At 6-6, they should be optimistic to have a better CAA season than last year.
Brown is down from last year, and their record shows it. Coming into this one at 4-9, they will be the lesser team on the court.
Simple handicap here. Slightly better team with the home court laying just a few, let’s ride with the Seawolves.
The Pick: Stony Brook -2.5
Radford (142.5) at Clemson -15.5
Fading big programs off Christmas break is a tradition like no other. Truthfully, I am very high on this Clemson team this year, but Radford is extremely dangerous. Their trio of guards is as good as any mid-major team in the country, and I really think they can give Clemson trouble.
Besides coming off the break, Clemson has a trip to Miami up next, which is a massive look-ahead spot. Lookout, Tigers, the Highlanders can pull off this upset.
