It’s the best day of the year in the NBA – Christmas Day! The league has, once again, laid out a full-day feast for NBA fans and bettors. Here are my Christmas Day NBA picks.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. New York Knicks
Tipoff – 12:00 pm EST
Spread: Bucks -3.5
Total: 241.5
The day tips off at noon Eastern in the World’s Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Gardens, in New York City. But I think the home crowd will be getting coal in their stockings courtesy of the Milwaukee Grinches Bucks. The visiting Bucks have won seven straight games and nine of their last 10. And, for the most part, they are spanking teams, covering tomorrow’s 3.5-point spread in each of their wins. Giannis Antetokounmpo has a bum foot but is expected to suit up tomorrow regardless. As for the total, it may be a little high for a game with the Knicks involved, but no play on it regardless.
Best Bet: Bucks -3.5 (-110)
Boston Celtics vs. Los Angeles Lakers
Tipoff – 5:00 pm EST
Spread: Celtics -3
Total: 234.5
The Bucks aren’t the only blazing hot Eastern Conference team – the 22-6 Boston Celtics still are tied for the NBA’s best record. They’ve won two straight and seven of eight, with their last two victories – both part of their West Coast trip – by 37 and 25 points. The Los Angeles Lakers, meanwhile, won their last game, breaking a four-game losing streak. Celtics -3 is the play. The total looks right, so no play there.
Best Bet: Celtics -3 (-110)
