Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – December 16
Luka Doncic – Higher than 33.5 Points
Thirty-three-and-a-half points are a lot of points, I know. But this is Luka Doncic we are talking about. He’s topped this total five times in his last seven games (he’s scored at least 30 points in nine straight games – it’s been almost a month since he’s gone for less than 30). And he’s playing the Portland Trail Blazers tomorrow. Should be a done deal.
Nikola Jokic – Lower than 27.5 Points
Nikola Jokic is scoring at a career-best rate this season, but he’s still only averaging 27.1 ppg, which is less than 27.5, by my math. And he hasn’t scored 28 points or more in five straight games and six of seven. With all hands on deck for the Nuggets tomorrow (other than Kentavious Caldwell-Pope), look for Jokic to not worry about scoring and concentrate on doing everything else.
Nikola Vucevic – Higher than 3.5 Assists
Chicago big man Nikola Vucevic has been in the holiday spirit as of late, dishing out plenty of assists to his teammates. He averages right at the 3.5 assist mark for the season, but he’s gone above that total in three straight games (five, five, and seven). And Miami will be without their big man dynamo Bam Adebayo tomorrow, making Vucevic’s life easier.
