Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – December 11
John Collins – Higher than 8.5 Rebounds
It’s not just that Collins has cleared the projection in three of his last four games – the only missing one being by half of a board. It’s also that somebody on the Jazz is going to have to come down with a few of these. Walker Kessler and Lauri Markkanen are on the shelf for this one, so any work done on the boards will likely come down to Collins and Omer Yurtseven. Not that I don’t trust the big Turkish center, but Collins should be able to get his fair share.
Luka Doncic – Higher than 9.5 Assists
I know he’s been putting up gaudy numbers on all parts of the stat sheet lately, but the assists I’m the most interested in at the moment. He’s gone for double figures in each of his last three and is averaging 13 per game in that span. Against a bad Memphis team, I think we might see him distributing a little more as the game progresses. So give me the dimes on Luka.
Nikola Vucevic – Higher than 10.5 Rebounds
Vucevic has always been a threat to put up a big number on the boards, but he seems to have recommitted himself to the task as of late. He has 16 and 12, respectively, in his last two games, and he is getting a lot of them on putback attempts on the offensive boards. The Bucks love to shoot a low-percentage shot, and this might be the easiest way for him to grab some on the defensive side, too.
