Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – December 6
Evan Mobley – Higher than 0.5 Double Doubles
The fact that Mobley has come up short in the last two games is the only reason this is being offered. Earlier in the year, he rattled off six straight double doubles and made it look like it’d be a nightly occurance. He came up two shots short last game and two boards short the game before. The fact that they were misses in different ways gives me faith that is isn’t a trend and he’ll get back to his ways here.
Jalen Duren – Higher than 0.5 Double Doubles
Yes, we’re going with another of these. Jalen Duren, since returning from injury, hasn’t had many issues getting to double figures on the boards or with points. He has double doubles in four of his last five games – with an odd game against the Lakers as the outlier. He also has hit this projection in six of his last eigth games. Give me him with another against the Grizzlies here.
Karl-Anthony Towns – Higher than 22.5 Points
The Spurs have some notable bigs at the rim with both Victor Wembanyama and Zach Collins. However, Wemby is coming off being banged up and missing a game and Collins is on the injury report for Wednesday. Both of those are good signs for the Timberwilves’ big man, who is already averaging 30 points per game in his last two.
