Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – December 4
Tyrese Haliburton – Higher than 10.5 Assists
Word on the street is that Haliburton is questionable for Monday’s game. While that may be alarming, if he’s playing, he’ll be getting the full complement of minutes. If he doesn’t, then this pick will cancel anyway.
Assuming that he does play, I think he should easily go over this projection. He’s averaging 11.8 dimes on the season, which is well above this number. Additionally, this game should turn into an absolute shootout – giving him ample opportunities to beat that number.
CJ McCollum – Higher than 17.5 Points
Since returning from his punctured lung, McCollum has only failed to make this mark twice. That matches the number of times he’s cleared 29 points. I think the projection is only as low as it is due to McCollum missing Saturday’s game. However, the Pelicans’ choice to rest him, I think, bodes well for him on Monday.
Kevin Huerter – Higher than 2.5 Three-Pointers Made
Huerter may just be clearing this projection on average this year, but he has been letting them fly lately. Over the last six games, he has 38 three-point attempts. He’s made at least four in two of his last three games as well. Also, nobody has given up more three-pointers in their last three games than the Pelicans (15.7 per game over that stretch)
