Washington Wizards vs. Orlando Magic

A wise man once said, “If it ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it.” I am going back to the Magic 2nd quarter in this game against the Wizards. On Wednesday night, the Magic won the 2nd quarter 35-30.
The early trend of the season has been the Orlando Magic in the first half, where they are now 15-3 ATS and a perfect 7-0 ATS at home. Furthermore, I dug a little. The Magic have been one of the best teams in the 2nd quarter. The Magic lead the league in 2nd quarter scoring where they average 32.3 points per game.
Further, the Magic have the best net rating (+23.7) in the 2nd quarter whereas the Wizards are #16 overall 2nd quarter net rating (-1.8). I like the Magic to continue dominating in the 2nd quarter a bit of pivot from the first half bet.
Best Bet: Magic 2Q -3 & TT Over 30.5
San Antonio Spurs vs. New Orleans Pelicans

Spread: Pelicans -13.5

The New Orleans Pelicans will welcome division foe, the San Antonio Spurs, to town tonight. The Spurs are on the 2nd leg of a back-to-back situation after losing to the Hawks on Thursday night. I am looking to fade the Spurs’ defense in this game and expect the Pelicans to score at will.
First, on the road this season, the Spurs are allowing 126.1 points per game. Further, in the two games in back-to-back games, the Spurs have given up 152 to the Pacers and 120 to the Grizzlies. It speaks volumes to me when the Spurs allowed the Grizzlies, who are the 2nd worst offensive-rated team, to score 120 points. I believe the Pelicans will score at will. Don’t be surprised if the Pelicans have 100+ points at the end of the 3rd quarter.
Best Bet: Pelicans TT Over 125
