Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – December 1
Joel Embiid – Lower than 31.5 Points
The numbers for Embiid have looked good as of late. He wound up just a bucket short of this projection in his last game played, However, he followed that up by being too banged up to make his next start. It looks like he’ll make it out for this game against the Celtics, but I’m not sure how healthy he’ll be. Add that to the fact that the Celtics have one of the best three defenses in the league and I imagine he winds up lower than this mark.
Jaren Jackson Jr. – Higher than 2.5 Blocks and Steals
The reigning defensive player of the year is at it again. He keeps nabbing steals and more than a couple blocks. He has a steal in three straight games and has 4.5 blocks per game over his last two. There’s a good chance he clears this mark without ever having to worry about the steals portions of it.
Kyle Kuzma – Higher than 5.0 Assists
It’s a bit simplistic, but the Wizards have been letting Kuzma be a distributor early in the season. Over the last three games he has 22 assists – which is good for 7.3 per game. That’s well above that number. While Orlando is a good defensive team, somebody has to dish the ball here. I think Kuzma clears it without a problem.
