Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – November 27
Buddy Hield – Higher than 17.5 Points
For two straight games, Hield did not look like himself. Against Orlando and Philadelphia, he managed just two and three points, respectively. In the three games that followed, he made this projection look silly. He’s averaged over 24 points per game in the last three games and appears to be shooting like his old self. The Blazers are in the bottom half of scoring defense, so that won’t hurt things at all here, either.
Ausar Thompson – Higher than 8.5 Rebounds
If you just look at his recent numbers, this may seem like an easy ‘lower than.’ However, that doesn’t really tell the whole story. While he hasn’t really flirted with this number in the last two games, he is still averaging nearly 10 boards per game on the season. Additionally, the Wizards are last in the league in giving up rebounds to opponents. This should be an easy one for him to reach.
Jonas Valanciunas – Higher than 0.5 Double Doubles (1.25x Scorcher)
The Jazz are going to be without some key players on Monday – key amongst them is Lauri Markkanen. The boards that Markkanen usually gets have to go somewhere, and there is no reason to think that Valanciunas shouldn’t grab a couple of them. That should get him the rebounds he needs in order to make this double double a reality.
