We’ve got a plethora of NBA games to feast on on Friday, with 22 teams in action (after only two games on Thursday). Plus – great news – these are in-season tournament games, so we’re going to get our eyes assaulted by those hideous courts! Happy days are here again! Here are my NBA picks for November 17th.

NBA Picks November 17th
New York Knicks vs. Washington Wizards
Tipoff – 7:00 pm EST
Spread: Knicks -6.5
Total: 227.5
Boy do the Washington Wizards suck. This actually isn’t a surprise – they were supposed to suck. Another unsurprising fact is that they suck big time on defense, which is what happens when you fill your roster with gunners. The 6-5 Knicks are doing ok, maybe underachieving a little bit. They probably will cover the 6.5-point spread easily, but I’m more interested in the Total. Washington gives up over 123 points a game on their own, so New York won’t even have to try to score too much for us to hit the Over.
Best Bet: Knicks/Wizards Over 227.5 (-110)
Sacramento Kings vs. San Antonio Spurs
Tipoff – 7:30 pm EST
Spread: Kings -6.0
Total: 232.5
The young San Antonio Spurs are really struggling, having lost six straight games. But they aren’t just losing – they are getting blown out in games. They’ve lost by seven or more points in five of those six games, including 41, 21, and 36-point blowouts. Their defense is atrocious, ranking last in the league, which is surprising with a presence like Victor Wembanyama roaming the paint. I think the visiting Sacramento Kings can cover the six points for us tomorrow in San Antonio
Best Bet: Kings -6.0 (-110)
