There are a couple of key games on Wednesday I’ll be zeroing in on in today’s NBA picks column. First, in the East, two of the NBA’s top teams, the 8-2 Boston Celtics and the 8-2 Philadelphia 76ers lock horns. Then, out West, the Phoenix Suns finally get their ‘Big 3’ on the court at the same time to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves. Here are my NBA picks for November 15th.

NBA Picks November 15th
Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers
Tipoff – 7:30 pm EST
Spread: Sixers -1.5
Total: 223.5
This premier matchup for Eastern Conference teams may be missing a large component, as Boston Celtics’ big man Kristaps Porzingis is questionable due to a right knee contusion. Then there’s the fact that this is the second night of a back-to-back (both at home, at least) for the Philadelphia 76ers, as they lost on Tuesday night to the Indiana Pacers. It’s not often you’re going to get points on the Celtics this season, so let’s roll the dice on them and hope Porzingis suits up.
Best Bet: Celtics +1.5 (-110)
Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Phoenix Suns
Tipoff – 9:00 pm EST
Spread: Suns -5.5
Total: 227.5
The Phoenix Suns season officially starts on Wednesday, as Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal will all suit up and appear in an NBA regular season game together. Maybe that’s why the Suns are favored by 5.5 points. Personally, I think this spread is too wide. The Suns have not been playing well this season, and while having their three stars all back will obviously help, there are bound to be some growing pains. Plus, don’t look now, but the Minnesota Timberwolves are actually good this season (at least so far).
Best Bet: Wolves +5.5 (-110)
