Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – October 24
LeBron James – Higher than 23.5 Points
NBA opening night is finally here, and when the lights shine the brightest – like tomorrow night – LeBron James normally comes through. Last season’s opener saw him post a 31-point triple-double against the Warriors. While I’m not predicting an encore performance tomorrow against the defending champions, I think he will see the ball go through the net quite often. Higher than 23.5 points it is.
Nikola Jokic – Higher than 9.5 Assists
Nikola Jokic looked to be in mid-season form during the pre-season, posting eye-popping numbers in limited minutes. I think he’s going to be his giving self in Denver’s home opener tomorrow and look to get his teammates involved early and often against the Lakers. The man is a walking triple-double, so Jokic higher than 9.5 assists should be a safe play.
Kevin Durant – Higher than 4.5 Assists
Let’s finish off with another assists play and go higher than 4.5 dimes for Phoenix’s Kevin Durant. With no true point guard on the floor (the roster?!) for the Suns, their star players will have to step up and keep the ball moving. Look for KD to have the rock in his hand lots for the Suns, and subsequently look for him to set up teammates for easy buckets.
