NFL Week 6 Underdog Fantasy Pick Em’ Flowchart

Core Plays

The core plays are going to be my favorite plays this week as your base foundation to start your pick em’ entry to maximize. This week, there are two projections I love to get the Underdog Fantasy Pick Em’ entry started.

Bryce Young Higher 22.5 Completions

The Panthers are heavy underdogs this week, going up against one of the most explosive offenses, the Miami Dolphins. If the Panthers trail in this game by multiple possessions, they will be forced to throw the football. Over the last two weeks, Young has completed 25 passes in each game. Further, four out of the five quarterbacks who have faced the Dolphins have gone over this projection. I’ll take the Higher here.

Ceedee Lamb Higher 69.5 Receiving Yards

We’ve read about the frustration that Ceedee Lamb has felt about not being more involved in the offensive game plan. We’ve seen frustration this season from other wide receivers such as Jamar Chase and A.J. Brown. What happened the following week? Both receivers went OFF for 100+ receiving yards.

This is a great buy-low spot for Lamb in a matchup projected to see plenty of points being scored. I expect Dak Prescott to find Lamb early and often in this game. I love the higher on this projection.

3x Multiplier

Adam Thielen Higher 5.5 Receptions

The Panthers are in the market for a #1 wide receiver, but Adam Thielen has filled that role nicely for the Panthers. In fact, over the last four weeks, Thielen has a total of 44 targets and 36 receptions in that span. I expect Thielen to continue being targeted in a game where the Panthers should be trailing by multiple possessions. That would only enable the Panthers to throw the football.

Zay Flowers Higher 55.5 Receiving Yards

Flowers has emerged as the #1 wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens in his rookie year. Not only does Flowers lead the Ravens in targets, but he also leads the receiving group in yards and receptions. The Ravens’ offense has a favorable matchup this week against the Titans, who are one of the worst pass defenses this season. I expect a big from Flowers from across the pond! Take the higher!

5x Multiplier

Jordan Addison Higher 51.5 Receiving Yards

One of the best wide receivers in the NFL went down to a hamstring injury in Week 5, Justin Jefferson. This opens plenty of targets for the Vikings’ wide receivers against the Bears’ pass defense, which has not been very good. Jefferson is leading the Vikings with 53 targets. Jefferson was averaging about 10 targets per game. I am expecting Jordan Addison to see plenty of targets in the absence of Jefferson.

In Week 5, Addison was tied with K.J. Osborn with nine targets and finished with 61 receiving yards. I expect the Vikings to throw the football against the Bears and Addison to be at the forefront of the yards and targets. I love the higher on Addison.

Kenneth Walker IV Higher 66.5 Rushing Yards

Kenneth Walker has a great matchup this week against the struggling Cincinnati Bengals, who are one of the worst rush defenses this season. In fact, the Bengals are allowing 5.3 yards per rush attempt, which ranks #29. Further, the Bengals are allowing 154 rushing yards on the season, which is the second most.

There’s no question that Walker is a feature back for the Seahawks. Over his last three starts, Walker is averaging close to 18 rush attempts per game and has gone over this projection in back-to-back games for the Seahawks. I expect another day for Walker against one of the worst rush defenses.

10x Multiplier

 Joe Burrow Higher 24.5 Completions

Did Burrow find his stride in the last game against the Cardinals? Or was it a matchup advantage? Nonetheless, this is a big game for the Bengals, with the 49ers and Bills on deck. Opposing quarterbacks have completed at least 24 passes in all four matchups against the Seahawks. I am expecting the pattern to continue this week for Burrow and the Bengals offense.
