The big man has been annihilating the baseball again as of late for the Yankees. In his last three games, he’s put up 11, 54(!!), and 14 fantasy points. Yes, 54 two games ago – 4/4 with three homers and a double, six RBIs, and three runs scored. Let’s hope the good times keep rolling Monday in the Bronx.
Jon Gray – Texas – Lower than 5.5 Strikeouts
I don’t get this line for Jon Gray, but I’ll gladly take the Lower on it. He averages less than five strikeouts per appearance this season, hasn’t topped 5.5 in his last three starts (he only had seven K’s total over those three games), and has only gone higher than 5.5 twice in his last seven starts. Yes, the Angels strike out often, but I still like the Lower here.
Yordan Alvarez – Houston – Higher than 8.5 Fantasy Points
Yordan Alvarez has heated up for Houston just in time for a crucial series against the Mariners. He’s topped the 8.5 fantasy points in two of his last three games, going for 11, eight, and 22 over that span. But, more importantly, he has a career slash of .333/.333/1.000 against Monday’s starter, Luis Castillo.
