June 22nd is the date that all college and international hopefuls have circled. The 2023 NBA draft is right around the corner, and the excitement for teams and players alike is palpable. While some young men are going to make a lot of money on that night, that doesn’t mean you have to be left out on all the fun. Some of these bets for the NBA draft should also make it a lucrative night for you.

2023 NBA Draft – Best Bets and Predictions
Scoot Henderson – 2nd Overall Pick (+150)
A lot of people are leaning toward Brandon Miller as the new frontrunner at number two, but I still believe it’ll be Henderson. While I get there are concerns that he’ll be able to score at this level right away, I think the fact that he’s shown so much growth in that realm in the G-League is actually going to entice the Hornets to make him the second pick.
Gradey Dick – To Be Draft in Top 10 (+190)
There are a lot of intangibles that NBA executives seem to like about Dick. If you go on evaluations alone, he probably belongs around the early teens. But he also seems like the kind of guy that someone would reach for. The Jazz once reached for another 6’7″ shooter with the ninth pick before, and that just turned out to be Gordon Hayward. I’m sure they’d make that mistake again.
Amen Thompson (-275) Head-to-Head with Ausar Thompson
Sure, this is a bit of a chalky play, but it’s maybe the most obvious one in the 2023 NBA Draft. Anybody who evaluates these two has Amen ahead of his twin brother. They have the same playing history, makeup, and DNA – so if one is putting up the better look right now, who in their right mind would take the other?
Anthony Black – Under Pick 8.5 (-230)
I have a higher evaluation of Black than a lot of other people. What he does distributing the ball reminds me a bit of Josh Giddey, and the frame and rebounding help that comparison. When this line set, it was close to even for him to be over or under 8.5. The money is coming in on under, and I wouldn’t even mind dabbling in his line as a top 5 pick (+2000).
Jarace Walker – Under Pick 6.5 (+140)
In the mock draft I did earlier in the week, I had Jarace penciled in at fifth. While he lacks a bit of the quickness, you’ll see over the longer guys at the top of the draft. His bulk should make him an intriguing option for an NBA team. The Pistons at five and the Magic at six could be fits and help this under hit.
