2023 NFL Best Ball Superflex Draft 8.0
The guys (@GamblingPodcast) continue NFL offseason with another NFL best ball superflex draft plus Odell Beckham Jr. reaction for him signing with the Ravens. Ryan and Sean do their Superflex draft, Sean goes bottom of the barrel with QBs like Anthony Richardson and Baker Mayfield. Ryan goes with Lamar Jackson and Daniel Jones to build his Underdog Fantasy roster.
Best Ball 8.0 comes with some exciting news about the NFL Free Agency market. OBJ will be going to the Baltimore Ravens for a pretty hefty contract. He has about 13 million guaranteed in his signing bonus and almost 2 million in salary with this one-year deal, with another 3 million in incentives. This signing seems to be an indicator that Lamar Jackson has a legitimate shot to be returning to the Ravens since they are going out to get him a weapon like Odell. Even though he is coming off an ACL, there is still a good chance he produces well. Despite the hype, OBJ still went in round 11 of this draft.
(26:25) Balancing Super Flex Leagues
Super Flex leagues put a massive emphasis on the quarterback, resulting in guys like Mike Williams and Deandre Hopkins going in the 5th and 6th rounds. What’s even worse is guys like Aaron Jones going as late as the 7th round. With the departure of Aaron Rodgers possibly being great for the Packers’ running game, snagging someone like Aaron Jones could be huge. Desmond Ridder out of Atlanta is a nice quarterback you can take late even in a flex league as he is a second year developing quarterback in an offense with solid weapons.

Quarterbacks that are not guaranteed to be playing this year start to go around round 10, with guys like Will Levis and Ryan Tannehill going at this round in this draft. In round 11, we also saw a massive running back run amongst the likes of Alvin Kamara, Damien Harris, and AJ Dillon.
(48:15) Lost Soldiers
Ezekiel Elliott and Kenny Golladay are former stars who are still floundering to find a home. With OBJ finding a home, these two could be next. As time passes though, it may seem more and more unlikely. Kareem Hunt is another star who is looking for a home still, with not much action around his name coming out.
