It’s almost April, which means that NBA teams are starting to run out of time to make the playoffs. It also means you’re nearly out of time to make big bucks with your NBA daily fantasy lineup. So, with the shot clock winding down, let us take that last-second jumper for you.

NBA Daily Fantasy Lineup for Friday – March 31st
PG – Kevin Porter Jr – HOU – $7,700
Porter Jr does a great job of spreading out the stat lines. However, if you’re looking for when he is the best value to your daily fantasy lineup, it’s when he can pick up boards. He draws the Pistons this Friday, who are not only 29th in the league in allowing fantasy points to point guards, but also are 25th in rebounding percentage.
SG – Andrew Nembhard – IND – $6,200
When Tyrese Haliburton missed yet another game, I expected the value to get spread between Nembhard and TJ McConnell. Instead, it was almost exclusively for the Gonzaga graduate. He picked up 15 dimes, which triples his season average. He is up against Oklahoma City, who is 30th against guards regarding fantasy points allowed. Nembhard should have a field day.

SF – Michael Porter Jr. – DEN – $5,900
Porter Jr will face off with Phoenix this Friday, who is usually average on the boards. However, over the last three games, they’ve let up an average of 55 rebounds per game (good for 27th in the league). Porter Jr has been busier on the glass as of late, with at least five boards in each of his last seven games.
PF – Keita Bates-Diop – SAS – $4,800
Bates-Diop will enter Friday’s game, having put up 25+ fantasy points in three of his last four games. You can thank his five rebounds, a game average in there, and an uptick in scoring. Luckily for him, he’s up against the Warriors, who are 23rd in opponents’ scoring and 22nd in opponents’ total rebound per game. Not having Steph Curry should also mean they miss a few more shots.
C – Domantas Sabonis – SAC – $10,400
People are talking about Sabonis easing off the gas a bit now that the Kings have clinched. His production is down in terms of fantasy points over the last few games. However, that goes to show you how high his floor is. In the previous three, he logged a double-double with at least four assists. Portland’s 24th-ranked rebound percentage should let the stats trend toward the ceiling instead.
G – Marcus Smart – BOS – $5,700
Sometimes you want to fade a guy coming off of a back-to-back like Smart is here – particularly with the first game coming against a top rival in the conference. However, Smart kept the minutes down thanks to the Celtics slapping the Bucks around in a violent way. A more rested Smart will be up against the Jazz, who are 29th in the league in allowing assists over their last three.

F – Kevin Knox II – POR – $5,000
With Damian Lillard out these past four games, Knox has stepped into his own and begun shooting the ball much more. He’s averaging 12 shot attempts in this four-game stretch. Compare that with his season average of 4.4, and you’re getting tons more work from him. His fantasy salary is shooting up, but I’m not sure it’s reached where it needs to be to fade.
UTIL – Patrick Beverley – CHI – $4,300
It was a rough look for Beverley on Wednesday night. After sticking it in the Lakers’ face in it a few nights prior with his “too small” celebration, he was held to 0 points and a 7.5-point fantasy night. While that plummeted his value in daily fantasy sports, the three games prior showed a lot of promise and quite a bit of value. He was averaging just short of 22 fantasy points in that span, which would be just fine by me as my bargain-bin pick.
