The guys (@GamblignPodcast) have their podcast taken over by The College Basketball Experience crew for this Elite Eight picks podcast. Colby Dant (@TheColbyD), Sean Green (@SeanTGreen) and Moneyline Mac (@MoneyLine_Mac) recap the Sweet 16 and give out all their predictions for the Elite Eight.

(5:40) Sweet 16 Recap
UCLA battled hard despite so many injuries that continued to pile up, relinquishing a huge league and then fighting back but ultimately coming up short from a huge shot from Julian Strawther. Kansas State and Markquis Nowell also impressed with an overtime win over Michigan State. Nowell has officially put himself and Kansas State on the map. Alabama and Houston both got upset in almost the same half hour. San Diego State outplayed Alabama and Miami gave Houston no chance. Texas won handily against Xavier by 12 and really impressed by the way they played.
(21:58) Kansas State (-2) vs Florida Atlantic
Markquis Nowell suffered an ankle injury in his dominating performance. Unfortunately, a good night of sleep could have probably swelled up the ankle even more. In addition, the short turn around after an overtime win could see Kansas State still reeling. History has shown to trust the guard that gets hot in the tournament in relation Kemba Walker, Shabazz Napier, and maybe when its all said and done, Markquis Nowell.
(26:31) UConn (-2.5) vs Gonzaga
UConn plays a very clean game of basketball from all aspects and they can swallow up Gonzaga. When Gonzaga doesn’t score 75 points they are just 2-5. Mark Few and his boys need to find a way to handle the crazy athleticism of UConn especially in the frontcourt. Drew Timme could certainly be overwhelmed. Gonzaga can’t be overlooked though because of the way they space the floor and can generate strong offense. Although, they may have already dumped their Gatorade when they beat UCLA.
(30:27) Creighton (-2) vs San Diego State
These teams met in the tournament last year and San Diego State had the game won until they let it all go down the drain. Creighton has played well but looked somewhat soft against Princeton. San Diego State though really locked down against Alabama, holding Brandon Miller to 3 of 19 shooting. They are a better offensive team due to transfers and still play a physical brand of ball that can give Creighton trouble.
(34:05) Texas -3.5 vs Miami
Texas has length and athleticism all over the court and could squander the Hurricanes all night. Miami also has a poor defense, outside of the top 100 in the country, that will get overwhelmed by Texas.
