XFL Week Three Picks

The season has been exciting for the XFL so far and should continue to be. Offensive production has been somewhat solid, and Seattle is leading in this department. Still, what stands out though has been the poor quarterback play in the league, which could lead to the demise of the league. It is no secret that the league is still in a developmental phase, as Head Coach Terrell Buckley stated the issue with his team’s performance is simply that he needs different guys out there. This week there will be one game on Saturday and three on Sunday.
Seattle/Vegas: Seattle -3 , Seattle -165, Vegas +140, Game Total O/U: 38.5
Seattle yields the best offense thanks to superb talent Josh Gordon. Yet, Seattle is 0-2 against the spread and in this one they are a road favorite. This is a little shaky and Vegas is a solid team who can spoil the promise of Seattle.
St. Louis/D.C: D.C. -2, D.C. -135, St. Louis +115, Game Total O/U: 37
Reggie Barlow has proven that he is the best coach in the league and can thank his defensive coordinator Gregg Williams for the help. Defensively, the D.C. Defenders are somewhat elite and have a legit crowd to tout.
Orlando/Arlington: Arlington -8.5, Arlington -425, Orlando +340, Game Total O/U: 37
If you somehow never knew what a toilet bowl looked like, if you watch this game, you will. Both teams have looked rough to start the season. Orlando’s offense has been somewhat better than Arlington and could scrap out a cover possibly. Although, Orlando has yet to score more than 12 points in a game, but they generated more yards against Houston than Arlington was able to, by 200 yards.
San Antonio/Houston: Houston -4, Houston -190, San Antonio +160, Game Total O/U: 36.5
The Roughnecks still has yet to lose a game but they did play the two worst teams. San Antonio though has had some misfortune and could be more legit than people think. If they can catch Houston riding high off their two wins, they could easily hand them their first loss.
