NBA DFS Lineup for Friday – 2/3

NBA DFS Lineup for Friday - 2/3

As we inch towards the trade deadline, there’s tons of uncertainty in the NBA. However, one thing that isn’t uncertain is that this NBA DFS lineup is going to clean house for you on Friday. We dug through the day’s eight-game slate and found you plenty of gems on the roster.

NBA DFS Lineup for Friday – 2/3

PG –Terry Rozier – CHA – $8,000

In the last seven games, the Hornets have been letting Rozier off the leash. He’s firing off shots at a much higher rate than earlier in the season. In those seven games, he hasn’t fallen below 19 attempts from the field. If you look at the five games before that, he had maxed out at 19, which he only got once. Add in that Detroit is allowing the second most points in the league and Rozier (and possibly other Hornets), should score the rock plenty.

SG Anfernee Simons – POR – $6,500

I’ve got a little hesitation here on Simons because of how Washington typically does stopping 3-pointers, but he’s just been so good from deep lately. He’s gone for 4+ in four of his last six. Each of those games led to at least 33 fantasy points (which would be fine given this salary level).

SF Malik Beasley – UTA – $4,700

After starting for nearly three weeks for Utah, Beasley moved back to the bench two games ago. While that might depress his salary here (and definitely his ownership), it hasn’t slowed down his production. In fact, since returning to the bench, he’s averaging over 5 fantasy points a game more than he was starting. The playing time hasn’t dipped either, so take advantage of the low ownership and salary.

PF – PJ Washington – CHA – $6,500

As I alluded to before, Detroir’s defense inspires a lot of confidence in whoever you want to play from Charlotte. If I’m digging deeper than just Rozier, I like Washington in this spot. Detroit is especially bad at stopping production from power forwards (29th in fantasy points allowed). Additionally, Washington always has the base level of assists and rebounds – so you have to love him against a team that’ll allow points too.

C Domantas Sabonis – SAC – $10,100

If I’m going big on somebody’s salary for NBA DFS this Friday, it has to be Sabonis. He’s got a great matchup with the Pacers. They’re giving up the 5th most fantasy points to centers in the league, they rank 28th in rebounding percentage, and 25th in points allowed. And if you need another reason – is Sabonis getting a chance to come back to the place that drafted him and embarrasses them? Sign me up.

G Corey Kispert – WAS – $3,300

I’m having the toughest time trying to figure out why the NBA DFS salary on Kispert is still so low. Over his past four games, he’s averaging 21.83 fantasy points a game behind some solid shooting. He’s hit four 3-pointers in two of those games and gone for double-figures in three of them. There’s probably not a saver bargain bin pick out there.

F Jaden McDaniels – MIN – $4,700

I’m slotting McDaniels into my NBA DFS lineups this week because I like his trend of hitting the glass harder. Despite only averaging 3.9 boards a game, he’s gone for 6.5 a game over the last four. The Magic are 18th in the league in opponents’ rebounds on the road – so I’m liking the home cooking.

UTIL Clint Capela – ATL – $6,100

Utah ranks 29th in the league in allowing fantasy points to centers. You can thank the fact that they’re 27th in the league in allowing points in the paint. Capela is one of those true centers who is not stretching his game out at all, so expect tons of opportunities. Pair that fact with his snagging double-digit rebounds in each of his last five, and he should have a monster night and a double-double.
