The NFL Week 13 Referee Report is here and I will be honest, the last few weeks have not been great. There is certainly an abundance of parody in the league this season. However, I will continue digging into the betting stats and trends and keep firing! Let’s find some referee likes this week to get us back on track and take a look at the NFL Week 13 Referee Assignments!

2021-2022 NFL Referee Stats

2022-2023 NFL Referee Betting Stats and Trends

Shawn Hochuli

Shawn Hochuli was a referee I talked about at volumes last season. Hochuli heavily favored the road teams going 11-5 straight up and 11-5 against the spread. However, this season, that betting trend has flipped. In fact, this season, Hochuli is favoring home teams. Thus far this season, home teams are 9-2 straight up. Additionally, home teams have won nine straight games this season in games officiated by Hochuli. The NFL Week 13 Referee Assignment draws Shawn Hochuli and his crew to officiate the Thursday Night Football between the Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots.

Ron Torbert

Since Torbert returned from his bye week this season, all three of his games have gone over the total. I mentioned Torbert weekly on the referee report earlier this season and I am going to go back to it this week. Thru 10 games this season, Torbert officiated games are cashing at a 70% win rate to the Under. Despite last week getting over the total in Torbert officiated game, it took the Chargers to drive down the field in the final minutes of the game and a two-point conversion to get over the total. However, his games are still averaging only 37.9 points per game. The NFL Week 13 Assignment draws Torbert and his crew to the Pittsburgh Steelers visiting the Atlanta Falcons.

Clay Martin

I am back to highlighting Clay Martin this week. Dating back to last season, Martin was heavily favoring the home teams and that has not changed this season. In fact, this season, home teams are 8-3 (72.7%) straight up and 7-4 (63.6%) against the spread. Additionally, home teams are averaging 24.8 points per game this season in games officiated by Clay Martin. The NFL Week 13 Referee Assignment draws Clay Martin and his crew to the Monday Night Football NFC South clash between the New Orleans Saints visiting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
