The UFC, and Conor McGregor, returns this Saturday to the T-Moblie Arena in Las Vegas at UFC 264. This will be the final (probably) fight in the McGregor-Dustin Poirier trilogy, with both men owning one win over the other. But is Notorious good enough to make my UFC 264 DraftKings roster, or am I siding with his nemesis, Poirier, instead? Read on and find out.

Sean O’Malley – $9,500
‘Sugar’ Sean O’Malley is the big-ticket item on my UFC 264 DraftKings team. He averages a very solid 78.9 fantasy points per fight and has cracked the triple-digit mark in three of his six UFC fights. Plus, he’s going up against a last-minute replacement fighter in Kris Moutinho, who will be making his UFC debut. O’Malley’s striking should be too much for the newcomer to handle, which is good news for our team.
Stephen Thompson – $8,500
I head to the co-main event for my next pickup. Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson’s booking against Gilbert Burns is a perfect matchup for him. Thompson should be able to pick the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ace apart on the feet with his distance striking, and his wrestling defense is strong enough to keep it a striking battle. Plus, Thompson seems to be peaking again, putting up 96 and 102 points in his last two fights.
Dricus du Plessis – $8,200
The top average point earner on Saturday’s card is Dricus du Plessis, who put up 110 in his lone UFC appearance. While this is a small sample size, ‘Stillknocks’ came into the UFC highly regarded. He’s a finisher, stopping all 15 of his pro victims (six knockouts and nine submissions), and he’s got a nice matchup against Trevin Giles this weekend.
Dustin Poirier – $8,100
To the main event we go, as I’m taking Dustin Poirier to not just beat Conor McGregor once again, but I expect him to finish him, once again. Speaking of peaking, ‘Diamond’ is on a crazy good roll, topping 100 points in seven of his last nine fights. This includes earning 108 in his demolishing of McGregor this past January. Expect more of the same tomorrow night, as Poirier will either knock out the Irishman or submit him.
Yana Kunitskaya – $7,900
Let’s keep on our trend of taking fighters on hot streaks and grab Yana Kunitskaya at underdog money. She looked fantastic in her dismantling of Ketlen Vieira in February, posting a robust 92 points for her fantasy owners. In the fight before that, she put 109 points on the board. I think she comes out as a winner against Irene Aldana tomorrow and earns us some nice points.
Ryan Hall – $7,100
The mercurial grappling wiz Ryan Hall finally returns to the cage this Saturday, taking on fellow grappler Ilia Topuria. The multiple-time jiu-jitsu world champion is unequaled on the mat, yet Topuria is talking like he plans on testing him on the ground. Bad idea. But good idea to add Hall to our UFC 264 DraftKings squad.
