Ryan went revenge. The guys said Ed Cooley got the better of Buzz Williams last year, and this time it is Buzz’s turn. Ryan also said he likes what he is hearing from Buzz, and that he watched some of the preseason motivational talk.
The other two took the Hoyas. Colby liked Georgetown in its home city against the Terps and said both rosters look pretty good for the season, though he figured it would be more of a Maryland crowd. Sean called Georgetown as a pick a gift.
Everyone liked the game being back. The guys said the series was played every year for about a hundred years before it went away, that the schools are about 20 minutes apart, and that it was a great college basketball game every year. They credited Ed Cooley and Buzz Williams with getting it back on the schedule.
