The segment started with UCF’s last game. UCF needed overtime against Gulf Coast and gave up a lot of points. Colby said Yale is a proud program, with the Bulldogs making the NCAA tournament in three of the last five years if memory served, and the guys put the last year Yale did not have a winning record at 2021.
Colby said this Yale team is better than average and should stay within the number. He called them live and wanted to sprinkle on the dog. Sean said UCF is coming off a crazy overtime game where it had to put up 96 points, and that this is an easy look-ahead spot with a scrappy Yale team coming to town. In his view 14.5 was way too high.
Ryan agreed on the side. He allowed the projection might be a little big, but he liked the dog regardless. Nobody on the show took UCF.
