Our Picks
- Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric): Missouri +5
- Sean Green (@SeanTGreen): Missouri +5
- Colby Dant (@TheColbyD): Missouri +5
The segment opened with the venue. The guys settled on a semi-neutral site and called it a semi-away game for Missouri in St. Louis. Then Colby brought up a Saint Louis player whose eligibility was tied up in court, with a 15-day temporary restraining order that would let him play. The guys were not sure he would suit up, and Colby said he tends to think the courts side with the player.
Colby’s case for Missouri came from the opener. The guys had picked Cleveland State against Missouri because coach Dennis Gates once coached at Cleveland State, thinking he might go easy on his old team. He did not. Missouri won by a mile, the guard play looked good, and Colby said he was going to lay the five.
Sean called it a rivalry game and a nice spot for Missouri, and said Missouri would be up for it. Ryan said 100% and added that Dennis Gates teams start or play pretty well early in the season. The guys are on Missouri.
