Double digits on the road is a lot to lay, and two of the three guys said so. Texas Tech was a 10.5-point favorite at Cincinnati with a total of 56.5 when the guys taped on October 20, for a game that kicks off Saturday, October 24 at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET in Cincinnati, OH. Colby and Sean grabbed the points, Ryan went the other way, and the whole argument is on the College Football Picks Week 8 episode.

Our Picks
- Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric): Texas Tech -10.5
- Sean Green (@SeanTGreen): Cincinnati +10.5
- Colby Dant (@thecolbyd): Cincinnati +10.5
Colby set it up as a grudge game. By his telling, the two fan bases have been going at each other over the gambling story around a former Cincinnati quarterback, with Texas Tech trying to pin it on Cincinnati. He took the home dog and didn’t dress it up much: 10.5 was too much.
Sean got there with more detail. He granted that Texas Tech is the better team, then listed what he liked about Cincinnati: a team that can run the ball, a quarterback who he said hadn’t thrown an interception yet, and a defense he called hot and cold but good enough to keep it close. He also figured a chilly day in Ohio wouldn’t do an undefeated Texas Tech team any favors. “All day on Cincinnati,” he said, and handed it to Ryan.
Ryan said he came in planning to be on Cincinnati himself. Then he decided to handicap the handicapper and took Texas Tech to cover. The segment wrapped with Ryan and Colby arguing over whether Eli Manning or Phil Simms was the better Giants quarterback, which settled nothing about this game.
