Vegas Golden Knights vs Carolina Hurricanes

At the very least, reading my goal scorer columns for the Stanley Cup Finals lets you know which players to not include in your bets, because I’ve surely mushed them. Tomorrow, I’m jinxing the captains for each squad.
For the visiting Vegas Golden Knights, that would be Mark Stone. The 34-year-old veteran has tallied two goals in the series thus far, including one in Game 4. And he’s been very active getting rubber on the net, managing 11 shots on net over the past three games.
The captain for the Carolina Hurricanes would, of course, be Jordan Staal, who has been even more effective than Stone in these Finals. The 37-year-old center has scored in all four games against the Golden Knights, including two goals in Tuesday’s Game 4. And, like Stone, he has 11 shots on goal over the past three.
