The Joc Pederson experience in a Texas Rangers uniform hasn’t exactly gone as planned. However, the slugger’s eight home runs this season are only one behind last season’s total of nine (in 96 games), so I guess that’s progress.

And I think Pederson has a good shot at getting to nine dingers tomorrow afternoon against the Kansas City Royals. The DH has two homers and a .999 OPS against tomorrow’s starter, Michael Wacha.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs Pittsburgh Pirates

The Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani only has 11 home runs this season, after sending 55 balls yard last year. What a bum.

Maybe he’ll rake tomorrow against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Ohtani likes hitting against Mitch Keller, and has two homers and a 1.599 OPS in 11 career at-bats against the Pirates starter.
