We’re back to two games on the NHL’s Stanley Cup Playoffs slate tomorrow, so let’s find a couple of goal scorers and win ourselves some money. NHL Goal Scorer Parlay For Friday (May 8th): NHL Predictions
Montreal Canadiens vs Buffalo Sabres
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
The Buffalo Sabres jumped out of the gate in Game 1 of their NHL Eastern Conference Second Round series against the Montreal Canadiens, winning 4-2. This despite their leading scorer being held off the board.
That would be center Tage Thompson, who managed 40 goals in the regular season but only has two in these playoffs. With his shooting percentage half of what it was in the regular season, and the amount of pucks he’s getting on the net, his luck is bound to change.
Vegas Golden Knights vs Anaheim Ducks
Start Time: 9:30 PM EST
Speaking of luck changing, that is what happened to the Anaheim Ducks in Game 2 on enemy ice, as they turned back the Vegas Golden Knights 3-1 in the desert.
I’m adding young Ducks (duckling?!) center Leo Carlsson to complete my parlay. He leads the team with four goals and 36 shots on net in the playoffs. This includes the game-winning goal in Anaheim’s win on Wednesday.
