The NBA Playoffs are drunk. Regardless, let’s try to pick a couple of winning plays for tomorrow. Here are your NBA Playoffs predictions and preview for Thursday, April 23rd.
NBA Playoffs Predictions & Preview For Thursday, April 23rd
Cleveland Cavaliers vs Toronto Raptors
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
The Toronto Raptors have been no match for the Cleveland Cavaliers through the first two games of their Eastern Conference First Round series, losing by double digits in each game in Cleveland. Now the series shifts to Toronto for Game 3.
As of now, at least, the Raptors starting point guard, Immanuel Quickley, is listed as questionable for tomorrow’s action after missing the first two games of the series with a hamstring strain (imagine that). Hopefully, Quickley is back for Thursday, because I’m in on the Raptors. My line is Toronto -3, so the value is on the Raptors plus the points.
Best Bet: Toronto + 3 (-109)
Denver Nuggets vs Minnesota Timberwolves
Start Time – 9:30 PM EST
The Western Conference grudge match series between the Denver Nuggets and the Minnesota Timberwolves moves to the Twin Cities tomorrow, with the series knotted at a game apiece after the Wolves stole Game 2 in Denver.
There will still be no Peyton Watson for the Nuggets tomorrow, which hurts. But Anthony Edwards is also listed as questionable, with knee maintenance (lolz – he’s going to play). My line is Minnesota -2, so the Wolves as a home dog is good with me.
Best Bet: Minnesota +2.5 (-110)
2025/6 Overall Record: 183-154 (54%)
Profit (based on $100/bet): $1,077.84
Return on Investment: 3%
