Daily NBA Player Props – October 31st

VJ Edgecome – Under 16.5 Points (-112)

Edgecombe showed that he was a legitimate scorer during his rookie campaign. He averaged 16.0 points per game, which has to be part of where this line comes from – because it certainly doesn’t come from this season. With LeBron and Jaylen Brown joining the fold, Edgecombe’s status as a scorer has been reduced significantly. He’s only hit his last year’s season average in one of the five games he’s played and has the added obstacle of playing the team with the 4th best points against average in the league.

Domantas Sabonis – Over 14.5 Rebounds (+109)

The Kings may be terrible, but Domantas Sabonis continues to be one of the best in the league on the glass. He leads the NBA with 16.2 rebounds per game and has had at  least 14 in every single game this season. He draws Memphis for this one, who he snagged 15 rebounds against just last week. Memphis has been less sharp with their distance shooting since then, which should create more chances for Sabonis.

Jaime Jaquez Jr. – Over 15.5 Points (-104)

With the departure of Giannis Antetokounmpo, someone has had to fill the scoring void in Milwaukee. One name that’s been handling a lot of that scoring has been Jaime Jaquez Jr. The UCLA-graduate is putting up 17.8 points per game and has had at least 19 points in four of his five games this season. That comes out just below 16% of Milwaukee’s overall scoring. He’ll face Cleveland, who is in the bottom third of the league in terms of points allowed and should allow him to hit the mark.
