Detroit Pistons vs Brooklyn Nets

Start Time – 7:30 PM EST

Despite four kicks at the can already, the Brooklyn Nets enter action tomorrow night with a goose egg in the win column. This isn’t totally shocking, as they were expected to do typical Nets stuff this season (aka, suck).

Such a close spread against the Detroit Pistons tomorrow, however, is unexpected, even with Jalen Duran out (Brooklyn will be missing Egor Demin). By my calculations, the visitors should be a 13.5-point favorite, so I’ll take the Pistons on the spread.

Best Bet: Detroit -6.5 (-113)

Denver Nuggets vs Phoenix Suns

Start Time – 10:00 PM EST

Which brings us to my Phoenix Suns. No, they aren’t very good, which isn’t a surprise to me since they overachieved last season and their owner thinks he’s a basketball genius. However, the spread for this game tomorrow against the Denver Nuggets is interesting to me.

At least according to the advanced stats, the Nuggets are even worse than the Suns this season. I’ve got Phoenix favored by five points, so I’ll take them on the spread and hope they don’t embarrass me.
