Now that’s what I’m talking about! A 3-0 start to May has me back on track with my daily NBA plays. Maybe I’ll go undefeated for the rest of the playoffs – why not?! We’ve got two more Game 7s to go in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, with one game going down tomorrow in Denver and the other on Sunday in Houston. Here are your NBA predictions and preview for Saturday, May 3rd.
NBA Predictions & Preview For Saturday, May 3rd
Los Angeles Clippers vs Denver Nuggets
Start Time – 7:30 PM EST
It’s fitting that we get a Game 7 in this super-tight series, with four of the six games decided by six points or less (and three by three points or less). After the Los Angeles Clippers bounced back from a Game 5 drubbing by holding serve on their home court in Game 6, we’re headed back to Mile High tomorrow for a winner-takes-all final game.
The Nuggets are a very solid 72-50 at home lifetime in the playoffs (elevation!), and they’ve won two of three in Ball Arena this series. And with all the marbles on the line, you can’t do much better than having Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray on your side.
So I think Denver is going to pull this out. Now, by how much? If the past is any indication, not much. My line for this game is Denver -3, so the Nuggets on the spread is my play
Best Bet: Denver -1.5 (-102)
Overall Record: 176-147 (54%)
Profit (based on $100/bet): $1,381.07
Return on Investment: 4%
