Ares FC Light Heavyweight Fight: Ilian Bouafia vs Paulin Begai
Card Start Time: Friday (2/14), 2:30pm EST (UFC Fight Pass)
We get a little Valentine’s Day violence courtesy of Ares FC this Friday. The co-main event features a couple of hard-hitting light heavyweights.
The line on this fight has stayed close largely due to Paulin Begai’s most recent win. He won with a big shot to the body last time out and the hype grew. However, his opponent left a bit to be desired in that fight and he didn’t look good consistently against the opponent. Instead, he got backed up frequently and tagged by some not so sharp shots.
He’ll see much more skilled pressure and definitely harder shots when he faces Boufia. The undefeated fighter not only does a good job of using his footwork to put opponents on the back foot, but also can mix in a bit of wrestling. Both should serve him well here and help him pick up a win.
