The week of college hoops slides into Mid-Major Thursday. Most of the big guys are scheduled for the weekend, so the smaller schools get attention tonight. The good news is that we still have a handful of games to put together an Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for February 13th. We’ve gone through the available options, and worked out three plays that you’ll want to use for today’s games.
Keep in mind that playing all three legs of our plays in Underdog Fantasy could win you 6X your money on a single entry. Let’s dig into tonight’s plays and remember to let it ride!

Brice Williams Higher Than 0.5 Steals
Maryland pays a visit to Lincoln, NE for a match up against the Cornhuskers. The last time these two teams played, Nebraska guard Brice Williams racked up three steals. The projection for tonight’s game is set at only 0.5. Let’s go higher on Williams’ steals total.
Williams comes into this one averaging 1.0 steals per game at home this year. He’s taken the ball away at least once in three out of five home conference games.
Maryland isn’t careless with the ball, but Williams had success against the Terps this year. Also, the number is too low to pass up on a short slate. Lock up Williams to grab at least one steal in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
PJ Haggerty Higher Than 3.5 Assists
Memphis heads to South Florida for a game against the Bulls. We typically try to fade guys playing on the road, but this is a great spot for Tigers point guard PJ Haggerty.
Haggerty comes into this game averaging 3.7 assists per game on the road. He’s gone higher than 3.5 assists in three of his last four conference road spots.
South Florida allows opponents to dish out 14.7 assists per game this year. That’s 293rd in the nation. The Bulls are a bit soft on the defensive end, and often leave the backdoor open.
Damarco Minor Lower Than 5.5 Rebounds
Oregon State gets a match up with the Portland Pilots tonight. The Pilots aren’t a very good rebounding team, and this one is a bit dangerous.
However, these two teams played once this year, Oregon State point guard Damarco Minor only managed three rebounds. Let’s go lower on Minor’s rebounds total in tonight’s Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
Minor comes into this game averaging 5.0 rebounds per game on the road this year. He’s also gone lower in six of his last eight games. Minor has also gone lower than 5.5 rebounds in three out of five road conference games.
Portland isn’t very good at cleaning the glass, but they were able to keep Minor from racking up boards in their first match up. Minor has also struggled to go higher than 5.5 rebounds recently. This is the side we’ll want to be on in our Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.
