I’ve hit a mini-slump with my daily NBA picks, dropping three straight. I’m blaming it on the barebones schedule the NBA is running out this week. Luckily we have eight games to choose winners from tomorrow. Here are your NBA predictions and preview for Friday, December 13th.

Washington Wizards vs Cleveland Cavaliers

Start Time – 7:00 PM EST

There really shouldn’t be any value on the Cleveland Cavaliers when they are laying 17 points on the spread, especially with Evan Mobley questionable for a game. However, the Cavs are hosting the Washington Wizards tomorrow night, so….

Washington is miserably bad, especially on the road where they are 1-9. Over their past five games, excluding a shock win over the Denver Nuggets, they’ve lost by 28, 36, 31 and 20 points. Plus, Cleveland has already beaten Washington by 19 and 31 points in their two previous meetings this season. Cleveland -25 is my line for this game.

Los Angeles Lakers vs Minnesota Timberwolves

Start Time – 8:00 PM EST

No LeBron James tomorrow night for the Los Angeles Lakers, but could that actually be a good thing, considering he’s -129 this season?! I’m sure the Minnesota Timberwolves still would prefer him not to play.

The Lakers are not good on the road, with three straight losses away from home dropping their away record to 5-8. And the Wolves seem to have turned a corner, despite losing their last game to the Golden State Warriors. Minnesota -11.5 is my line. Go Wolves.
