Oklahoma City Thunder vs New Orleans Pelicans

Start Time – 7:00 PM EST

The best team in the league visits the second-worst one. So why is the spread so small?! Because the New Orleans Pelicans were able to squeak out a victory over the Phoenix Suns on Thursday?!

I’m not fooled by that win. OKC should trounce New Orleans here, as they did in their first meeting this season when the Thunder won by 18 points. The correct spread should be Oklahoma City -19, so we’re getting nice value.

Detroit Pistons vs New York Knicks

Start Time – 7:30 PM EST

Jalen Brunson may miss his first game of the year tomorrow for the New York Knicks, which makes this play a little iffy. But it’s still the one my numbers like the best for tomorrow (other than the OKC play).

The Knicks have the fifth-best home record in the league, going 8-2 at Madison Square Garden thus far. They also beat the Detroit Pistons by 30 points in their first meeting this season. And the Pistons are slumping, losing three straight and four of their last five.
