Wednesday brings us some more Mid-American Conference gridiron action as my 55 straight days of football best bets heads into its last weeks. For my best bet for Wednesday, November 13th: College Football Predictions, we’re headed to Yager Stadium in Oxford, Ohio for a battle between the first and the last place team in the MAC.

Kent State Golden Flashes vs Miami (OH) RedHawks
Start Time – 7:00 PM EST
Not only are the Miami (OH) RedHawks in first place in the Mid-American Conference, but they’re also the home team in this matchup. And the visiting Kent State Golden Flashes are 0-5 in the conference and 0-9 overall this season. Yet, the Golden Flashes are my best bet tomorrow.
Now I’m not going crazy and predicting a Kent State win tomorrow night. However, I think the line for this matchup is too wide. The RedHawks are not steamrolling teams this season – their average margin of victory is only 3.2 points and they’ve only beaten this 30.5-point spread once. Case in point – they only beat a so-so Ball State team by six points last week. Kent State has been getting smashed, but my calculations based on point differential, strength of schedule, and the home-field advantage have this game pegged at Miami -22. So I’ll take a stab on the dogs.
