Boston Celtics vs Orlando Magic

Start Time – 3:30 PM EST

On the surface, this matchup between the 4-1 Boston Celtics and the 2-3 Orlando Magic looks like a bit of a mismatch in the Celtics favor. However, when you look under the hood, you’ll see that the Magic have been the better team this season according to the advanced stats, so they should start piling up some wins, despite their lengthy injury report.

Maybe tomorrow is that day. My calculations do have Orlando favored on Sunday by 3.5 points, so I’ll take a chance on them on the spread.

Brooklyn Nets vs Indiana Pacers

Start Time – 5:00 PM EST

It didn’t take long for the Brooklyn Nets and the Indiana Pacers (especially) to get themselves banged up and down key players. But that’s the modern-day NBA, I guess.

However, it has taken a long time for the Nets to get a win – they haven’t yet, in fact, so who knows how long it’ll be. And I don’t see it happening tomorrow in Indianapolis. My line is Indiana -6, so the Pacers are my play.
