MMA Same Game Parlay of the Week: UFC Vegas 123
UFC Vegas 123 Flyweight Fight: Ode Osbourne vs Cody Durden
Start Time: 5:00pm EST (Paramount+)
On the main card of UFC Vegas 123, we have a pair of flyweight staples going head-to-head in a stylistic clash. Cody Durden brings his grinding style of wrestling to the card, while Ode Osbourne will look to use his reach to keep this on the feet. Knowing those two styles put together, we’ll play them both to make a same-game parlay.
We can start with the takedowns of Cody Durden. He’s landed at least two in four of his last six fights. The lone exceptions to those were when he was submitted by tough Brazilian grapplers in the process of wrestling. Osbourne has given up eight takedowns over his last two fights and has not attempted a submission in any of his last three.
While Osbourne has been wrestled to a decision loss in three of his last four fights, he has managed to slip in some striking in just about all of those. In each of his losses, he managed to go up over 30 significant strikes. That’s a fairly low bar here to make our line even better.
UFC Vegas 123 SGP: Cody Durden 2+ Takedowns and Ode Osbourne 30+ Significant Strikes = +125
