Best Bet for Friday (Oct 30th): NHL Predictions
New Jersey Devils vs Vegas Golden Knights
Start Time: 6:00 PM EST
Note the early start time as tomorrow is Nevada Day (apparently a state holiday), and the Vegas Golden Knights have plenty of festivities planned, including an afternoon game against the New Jersey Devils, their only visit to the desert this season.
The new-look Devils, in fact, as newly acquired multi-time Vezina winner and one-time NHL MVP Connor Hellebuyck is anticipated to get the start between the pipes for the visitors. Meanwhile, the Golden Knights’ #1 netminder, Carter Hart, is expected to still be out with an undisclosed injury, but backup Adin Hill has arguably been better this season anyhow.
These two combatants are extremely even on paper, so I think the deciding factor could come down to the home ice advantage. Vegas is a stellar 6-2 on their home ice at T-Mobile Arena, and they should be extra-motivated tomorrow since it’s a special day and game.
Vegas on the moneyline is my best bet for Friday.
