The Milwaukee Brewers held off the Tampa Bay Rays in Friday’s Game 1 of the 2026 World Series, holding serve on their home field. The Rays are now three wins away from winning their first championship. However, as a Toronto Blue Jays fan, I must remind you not to count your chickens until they hatch. For my World Series Game 2 best bet, we’re headed back to American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Let’s get this money!

Tampa Bay Rays vs Milwaukee Brewers

Don’t count those chickens yet because I’m betting on the Tampa Bay Rays to even up the series in Saturday’s Game 2. This is a bit of a bold prediction considering the Milwaukee Brewers (along with the Rays) were the best home team in the majors this season. Plus, the Brewers are now 5-0 at home during this postseason run.
However, as Game 1 showed, this should be a tight, low-scoring series, so every game should be nip and tuck, with either team able to steal a win. And the visiting Rays should be in good position to do so tomorrow with ace Drew Rasmussen earning the start.
The 31-year-old righty is 2-0 in the postseason and has only allowed three earned runs over three starts (21 innings), while striking out 23. I like Tampa Bay as a dog on the moneyline as my best bet for Game 2.
