Atlanta Hawks vs Charlotte Hornets
Start Time – 7:00 PM EST
The Charlotte Hornets are undefeated in their post-Lonzo Ball era. The Hornets won their season opener despite missing Kon Knueppel (hamstring injury, NBA) and Coby White (calf injury, NBA).
And I like the shorthanded Hornets to make it two in a row to kick off the season when the Atlanta Hawks come to town tomorrow night. My line is Charlotte -2.5, so I’ll gladly take the Hornets as a home dog.

Memphis Grizzlies vs Golden State Warriors
Start Time – 10:00 PM EST
It was not a successful start to the season for the aging and injured Golden State Warriors, as they took it on the chin from the Los Angeles Lakers. They get a step down in competition for Game #2, their home opener on Friday against the Memphis Grizzlies.
I’m liking Steph Curry and company to handle their business at the Chase Center. I have the Warriors as a nine-point favorite, so they’ll be my play on the spread.
